“Hampton Roads Climate Change and Environmental Justice Challenges Part 1”

The workshops was a participatory workshop with the goal to brainstorm challenges in our area related to climate change impacts including sea level rise, resilience and environmental justice. After a short introductory round we worked in the plenary to identify main issues. Later we were working in groups as needed on specific challenges. We concluded with a plenary session where we we agree on next steps to be taken before the second part of the workshop on May 27, 2024.

Venue

The meeting room is on the ground floor of the Innovation Research Park 2. The map under Parking indicates a walkway from the Pay Parking area to the meeting room.

Meals

Lunch was provided. We had lunch at the near by La Herradura Restaurant.

Parking

We provided parking permits for parking in the ODU parking building at 43rd Street (see the map below).
