Stop the Killing of Wildlife: The 2024 Living Planet Report published on Oct. 10, 2024 by the World Wildlife Fund finds an average 73% decline in wildlife populations since 1970. This gross elimination of wildlife was achieved by humanity's doing. The Earth is approaching dangerous tipping points posing grave threats not only to the remaining wildlife but also to humanity. Seems like we need a global Suffrage movement to give other animals a voice in what is happening on Earth to tackle the multicrisis of living in a new climate, ending the loss of wildlife and biodiversity, and reducing global pollution.

Elon Musk lives on "Another Planet".: Marina Hyde in her article today in the Guardian makes it very clear: “Hurricane Milton has left two worlds in its wake. Elon Musk lives in one of them. The other is called reality.” Elon Musk is in "Another Planet" world, where hurricanes can be created and controlled and used as weapon against political opponents. “In addition to oligarchs such as Musk, Another Planet has its own politicians who advance its interests, most notably Donald Trump.” Hyde also makes this extremely important point: “Maybe most worryingly, Another Planet constantly suggests it will defend itself by force if necessary. One way to fight a “weather weapon” is by making a death threat against a meteorologist. Or, indeed, multiple death threats against multiple meteorologists. Another way is call for militias to attack Fema for “withholding aid”. Another way is to threaten to shoot first responders.” Unfortunately, the Another Planet World is on Earth. Time to stop the oligarchs that want all of us to live on Another Planet.

Or it would if it wasn’t for the fact that Musk himself provides most of ammunition discharged in this damning account.”. He concludes that ”By the end of this book, you can’t help but feel that Mars may well be the right place for this strange and obscenely wealthy character.&rquo;

We should not laugh about insanity, we should fight it: Elon Musk just made another insane claim: “Humans can be on Mars in four years” and people can be “staying on the red planet in a self-sustaining city in 20 years.” Many laugh, but some see purpose. Sustained and evolving life exists only in the critical zone, a very complex system with many well-balanced flows and millions of actors. It takes thousands to millions of years to develop. Only insane people could think this could be established on Mars in a few years! Let's not waste resources on that. Let's safeguard the self-sustaining life on Earth.
