Establishing a new Virtual Community Center

In order to keep things as simple as possible, establishing a new VCC is entirely at the discretion of a Place4Us participant. However, Place4Us has a strong ethos that can be summarized as justice, equity, tolerance, love, peace and reverence for nature. Place4Us has numerous safeguards in place to identify any VCC or any participant violating this ethos. Violators, both individuals and VCCs, will be decisively removed from Place4Us.

A Place4Us participant who would like to establish a new VCC can do so with Open New VCC. The form to open a new VCC asks for information on the community representative submitting the request (you), the community that would like to establish the new VCC, and the vision and mission of this community. Make sure that the vision and mission of the community are aligned to the vision and mission of Place4Us.

Once the form has been completed and the request has been validated, you will see the Initalize VCC button. Submitting the request through this button will establish the VCC with two initial floors (Reception and Workspace). The participant who requests and initializes the VCC is the original VCC administrator. After that step you will be able to enter the VCC and fully establish the VCC utilizing the tools available in the Workspace of the new VCC. In the workspace, most actions are on Stay Woke in Construction. You can construct the VCC building according to the needs of your community and open it for the public and for members to sign up.
